Shengjing specializes in large windows, doors, facades, interior decoration glass and other architectural glass applications.
With many years of experience in the glass-processing industry, the customer had previously operated a double edging line from another supplier. However, concerns about equipment quality and after-sales service led Shengjing to look for a new long-term partner.
The relationship between Shengjing and Techwin originally began with a glass washing machine.
After experiencing Techwin’s equipment quality and technical support, the customer decided to expand the cooperation and selected Techwin for a new 6000 × 3000 mm jumbo glass double edging line and 3000 mm washing machine.

For large architectural windows, edge quality and dimensional accuracy are critical.
Traditional four-side edging machines, also known as seaming machines, can achieve high production speeds, but customers may experience limitations in:
For window production, excessive diagonal deviation can cause the glass to fit incorrectly during assembly, resulting in rejection and material loss.
Shengjing needed a solution that could combine high speed with better dimensional control and reliable production quality.
Techwin supplied an L-shaped double edging line designed for glass up to:
Each double edger is equipped with 26 spindles, including 24 spindles for edging and polishing.
For window production, Techwin also integrated a dedicated Low-E edge removal function, allowing the coating to be removed from the required glass edge before further processing.
One of the key advantages of the Techwin double edging line is its ability to correct diagonal deviation during processing.
If the glass is not cut perfectly square, the double edger can correct the dimensional deviation while processing the edges.
This is particularly important for large windows.
The rough grinding section can also achieve speeds of up to 30 m/min, providing high productivity while maintaining the dimensional control required for architectural glass.
Techwin also supplied customized glass conveyors connecting the cutting machine to the double edging line.
The conveyor layout was designed according to the customer’s factory space.
This provides two important benefits:
Glass can move automatically from cutting to edging without repeated manual carrying.
Reducing manual glass handling also reduces the risk of scratches and accidental damage during transportation.
The result is a more continuous and efficient production flow.
After edging, the glass enters the Techwin 3000 mm washing machine for cleaning and drying.
The washing system is designed for the large-format architectural glass processed by the line, creating a continuous workflow from:
Cutting → Conveying → Double Edging → Washing → Unloading

The Shengjing project demonstrates why more window processors are moving from traditional four-side seaming toward high-speed double edging.
The objective is not simply to process glass faster.
It is to achieve:
High Speed + Better Edge Quality + Diagonal Correction + Lower Rejection + Less Labor
For large-format windows, where even small dimensional errors can affect final assembly, this combination can make a significant difference to overall production efficiency.
Shengjing first experienced Techwin through a washing machine.
Satisfied with the equipment quality and after-sales service, the customer chose Techwin again for its most demanding project yet: a 6000 × 3000 mm jumbo double edging line.
The project demonstrates an important principle:
A successful machine creates the opportunity for a long-term partnership.
