Project Overview

CRISTASÓN, S.L. is a Spanish glass processor serving a wide range of architectural, interior, office and construction applications, together with specialty glass products such as switchable privacy glass.

Techwin has developed a long-term relationship with CRISTASÓN, with three glass washing machines supplied to the customer:

• 1 × 2500 mm Horizontal Glass Washing Machine
• 2 × 2500 mm Vertical Glass Washing Machines

The three machines support different production processes and glass-processing requirements.

Three Machines for Different Production Needs

2500 mm Horizontal Glass Washer

The horizontal washer is configured for continuous and high-quality cleaning, featuring:

• Two pre-washing systems
• Independent recirculation water tanks
• High-pressure water pump and filtration
• Six cylindrical brushes — 3 upper + 3 lower
• Continuous water spraying onto the brushes
• Three pairs of air knives
• High-pressure drying fan
• LED inspection lights at the unloading section

The LED lighting allows operators to inspect the glass surface immediately after washing, helping identify defects before the glass moves to the next production stage.

Two 2500 mm Vertical Glass Washers

CRISTASÓN also selected two Techwin vertical washing machines for its production requirements.

The vertical machines are designed with practical features for safe and flexible glass handling.

3 m Loading & Unloading Zones

The standard configuration provides 3-meter loading and unloading zones, with customized lengths available when required by the customer’s factory layout.

Safe Glass Handling

Sensors are installed in the unloading area to help prevent glass from falling from the machine.

Emergency-stop buttons are positioned on both sides of the equipment for convenient operator access.

Glass Inspection

Integrated LED lighting allows operators to inspect the glass surface during unloading.

Foot Pedal Control

A foot pedal at the unloading area allows operators to control the unloading process when handling long glass pieces, making manual handling more convenient.
